What makes you anxious/nervous?

Erin #1:

Money really freaks me out.  I hate that it can be so limiting.  I hate how easily it can take over something.  I just have bad associations with it and it makes me really uneasy to think about how much it drives the world.  It's corrupting and unfair and can tear apart relationships.  But it also makes the world go round.  It has a lot of power, and I hate that.

Erin #2:

Well everything makes me nervous. Right now it's my student loan debt, but I'm working with a company now to help eliminate that and or my fears.

Erin #3:

Having too much to do and not enough time to do it.

Erin #4:

Gymnastics competition

Erin #5 (Me):

Bridges and the dentist. There are a lot of things that cause me anxiety, but these are the two that popped into my mind first. I don’t like having open air between me and the ground, especially if I can see through it like those glass block walkways on the second floor of malls. I have terrible teeth. I blame it on my father. I have been to the dentist so many times, and it doesn’t always end well. I hate the sound and the smell, and I really hate trying to hold my mouth open for that long without choking on my own spit.

Conclusion: I think one of the things every human has in common is fear. With the exception of Erin #4, I have been anxious about all the same things the other Erins communicated. Haven't you?
