Professors as Pharmacists

Recent developments in my Personal and Exploratory writing class have led me to believe that English teachers should also be licensed pharmacists.  My instructor wants us to delve into our deep, dark pasts- stirring up hurt feelings, bad experiences and painful family deaths.  I am sure there are a few who have terrible pasts to explore, but as far as I am concerned I am fairly boring.

So, what I have written has been fairly mundane, but other students come to class looking tired and weary.  After all the delving I think a number of them could use some Prozac.  If the point of the class is to cause mental anguish and breakdowns in family communications, the least the professor could do is offer some pharmaceutical assistance to those that need it.  The class would be a lot more sunny and cheerful if there were free samples of anti-depressants.
