I found this blog today about a new ad campaign by PETA. I found it both highly amusing and informative.

Just like Mir Kamin on her blog post, I find this offensive. First of all, you don't need to be a vegetarian to overcome a weight problem. Second, PETA is becoming just as detrimental to girls' and women's body image as some fashion magazines. And finally, if PETA really wanted to make a difference, they wouldn't have alienated the 21.4 percent of the overweight women in the United States (U.S Dept. of Health and Human Services).
I am sure some of them are vegetarian and the ones that aren't, sure aren't going to become one now. Way to go PETA, you have officially become one of the tackiest and most tasteless organizations in the world.
