Wedding Bells

My little brother is getting married this coming weekend. I have not met his fiance Lindsay, but hear from my brother how wonderful she is. I can tell he is very happy.

This is not the first wedding I have heard of in the last few months. My sister-in-law, Shannon, is also getting married — in March, as well as a friend, and a co-worker in June.

I love weddings. I love the flowers, the dresses, the venue, the churches and especially the cakes. I love that every bride has their own unique way of bringing it all together to say something about them. Then again, sometimes what the bride is trying to convey, does not always reflect in the wedding.

There is bound to be at least one hitch (excuse the pun) to any perfect wedding. In the following cases, it was the cake.
